CT coffee & coconuts

You found yourself in Amsterdam looking for a good place to grab a bite?
I always try to find the best places to have breakfast in where I travel so when I went to the Netherlands it was no different. I was searching the Net when I found CT coffee & coconuts and instantly knew that it was a place that me and Peter had to visit!

We went there on a weekday but the place was pretty much packed anyway. The cafe itself is made out of an old cinema and when you walk in you get astonished by the design and the atmosphere. The words that they put on their website: " a funky and fresh place for you to enjoy the buzzing energy of the city and breathe in the relaxing vibe of all the good things in life" are definitely relevant.

The staff was constantly in a hurry as there were people coming in and out all the time. We were very lucky that we actually got a place to sit but hey, it was a sign that the place is good indeed.

Peter ordered their famous coconut pancakes with red fruit compote and I opted for overnight buckwheat porridge with mango puree which was pretty amazing and filling! We had to have our morning doze of caffeine so we ordered coffee as well.

We didn't spend there much time as we had some errands to run but overall we definitely had a great experience. The food was finger licking good as well as the coffee so that's what's the most important. Add some friendly staff (that managed not to get overwhelmed by all the customers!) and great interior and you've found the best place to have your breakfast.
