2014 recapitulation

It's been a while since I wrote something. And as 2015 is around the corner I decided it's time I summed 2014 up. On 31st od December 2013 I posted a picture with a caption:

"finding the coolest places with the best people, drinking coffee, taking pictures, travelling, reading, overthinking stuff, learning Swedish, attending more gigs - those are my plans for 2014"

I must admit it's a bit cheesy written, but you get the idea. So how did I do?

In January me and my friend visited my family in southern Poland. We had a lot of fun while freezing to death. I don't have any photos from this trip apart from this one taken with my Diana Mini.
See these icicles? Yeah it really was that cold! Our return train almost got cancelled due to heavy snowing and ice but fortunately we got back without any suprises.

February wasn't really that exciting besides the fact that I turned 17. Such a weird age to be, you feel like an adult but legally you're not. You're not a child either - cannot wait till I finally turn 18 in a few months.

In March I attended the first gig of 2014. My friend and I went to see The Dumplings - a band of two teenagers who are enormously talented. I couldn't believe they were the same age as I was. After the concert we had a chance to meet them and it was one of the coolest experiences in my life. Meeting people with a passion for something really inspires me and motivates me to make my dreams come true so that was pretty much perfect. And I was truly astonished by their modesty - I guess that changed a bit now that they have accomplished so much in such a small amount of time but still. Fingers crossed for them.

April went really fast because of school assigments and Easter. I don't even remember what I've done in that month. I hate when that happens.

Then May came and I went to Cracow for the first time. It's such a beautiful city! I wanted to take a picture of everything. Literally! If you ever have a chance to come to this city, don't hesitate! :)

We laughed so hard  about how they misspelt Peter's name.
I called Peter "Riotr" a couple of times after that.
I also had a chance to see The Neighbourhood and gawd, that gig was so good! So good!
(even if afterwards we had to wait 2 hours in coldness because all the buses were full - still worth it)

And June... undoubtly the best month of this year. So many things happend, spontanous or not, everything about this month is perfect. 1# It started to get warmer. 2# We went to Orange Warsaw Festival with Peter. 3# I took a spontanous trip to Berlin with by friend and saw Lana Del Rey again. 4# End of school.
I mean, it couldn't get any better.

In JulyI went to the north for a change. Visiting Gdynia and Sopot was a cool experience, really relaxing and calming. Just what I needed after a long year of studying. Oh, and I saw Foster The People again and even got a signed setlist after the show. No biggie.

August, September, November, October and December were like a blink of an eye. It went so fast and I didn't do anything exciting. It's kind of scary how fast time flies without even realising it. Hopefully next year I will get out of my life even more so I will have to write something about every month without skipping anything.

So yeah, it's been a great one for me. At least I think so!
2015 will be more exciting though. I have so much planned I can't wait for all these things to happen.

2015, bring it on!

Hope you'll have a fabulous New Year.
