postcard from cracow

I get back home from my summer getaways but for some reason I feel kind of anxious. Travelling as much as I did this year means that it's hard for me to stay still. I can't help it but to daydream about my future trips and this time it's no different. I spend two weeks or so on doing nothing, just winding down and trying to figure things out for myself. Next year I'm graduating and it's so exciting and scary at the same time. And thinking about it consumes most of my thoughts so it's obviously time for me togo somewhere. So when my aunt from Luxembourg invites me to her new place in Cracow I cannot say no. I pack lightly and soon I'm on a train to the most beautiful city in Poland. The weather's nice and so is the apartment I'm staying at. We go out to the restaurants quite a lot and I finally have a breakfast at Charlotte and it's good but I can't stop but think that nothing beats a bowl of porridge in the morning anyway. We wander around, go to some stores but I end up buying nothing. Then we go to an Italian restaurant and I order the best tomato soup I've ever had. (It was so good that I promptly make it at home when I get back.) Few more days of chilling and basking in the sun and I take the train back home. And when I'm actually back I see a picture that two of my favourite British actors are in Cracow and I did not meet them. You can imagine my face when I found out.
