konrad cafe and bar

perhaps you like a good cup of coffee? and perhaps you've found yourself in luxembourg? if the answers to these questions are positive, i have good news for you my friend - konrad is the place to visit!

there's no doubt that i enjoy a good cup of coffee. so when i started planning my trip to luxembourg it was obvious i had to visit a place where they serve one. after doing a little research and seeing people praising about konrad i knew that was the place i was looking for. it wasn't hard to find as it is located pretty much in the heart of the city. right after walking in i felt the incredible atmosphere of the place - great design, good music and what's even more important - friendly staff ready for your order! i try to eat as less dairy as i can so i opted for soy latte. to go with that i ordered a delicious chocolate cookie that was crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. yum. the coffee was really good. one of the pluses of this place is the fact that they have vegan and vegeterian options. it's hard to find a place that serves soy milk at times. i was there alone but i didn't feel weird or anything. now i actually started to appreciate the time spent on my own - sometimes there's nothing better than just you and your thoughts :) also, you can find a great range of magazines to look through! if you're slightly hungrier and want something more nutritious to eat - don't worry! you can find sandwiches, soups etc on the menu as well.
overall, my experience with this cafe was great! what i liked besides the local and atmosphere (and well, coffee, duh!) was the english speaking staff that welcomed me with big smile.

so if you ever have a chance to visit konrad - i encourage you to do so! not only will you drink a delicious, well-served cup of coffee but also have a great time!
